5G ,A Technological Advancement or threat to Environment

Death of Hundred of Birds at Hegue ,5G Begining of high speed era or threat to Environment

Every year data usage has shown a great surge. Man is so desperate to do things that he don’t want to wait for a single second for anything .When it comes to the data speed heavy data usage has increased the need of high speed data transfer. Also risk has increased for increase of Electromagnetic radiation.

To meet the requirement of high speed data transfer new technologies are being invented and being implemented. 3G and 4G is already being used to provide high speed of data , work on 5G is still going on ,but something alarming has been reported about 5G.

Death of Birds during 5G Testing in Hegue

Recently news is published  in various websites and newspapers about death of hundreds of Birds during 5G tests in the Hegue.

several incidences were observed about death of birds and crazy behaviour shown by cows after testing of 5G , raising alarms about negative effects of 5G.

 Changing Mobile Technologies and Effects

Common man has nothing to do what technology is used in providing telecom services by the telecom operators but there must be basic knowledge about what is happening around which is not visible but  still affects him. To know this let  us get a rough idea about various telecom technologies used for providing high speed of data :

3G

3G was launched with the motive of increasing data transfer rates and improve quality of service .Due to high data transfer needs frequency bands used by mobile towers in 1800 MHz(1.8GHz) and 2100(2.1Ghz) Mhz bands . Higher frequency bands are required to increase data speeds. Thus with the increase in frequency data speeds increased but coverage of towers reduced(wavelenth reduced with increasing frequency) forcing operators to install new towers . 3G is able to provide upto 20 Mbps of data speed.

4 G

With the globalization and digitization in every part of the world, considerabe surge is observed in the data transfer needs. Thus 4G is launched to provide high speed of data transfer. While 4G , boasts of providing data speeds upto 300 Mbps. Telecom operators are finding it hard  to provide even 100 Mbps with the existing Infra .Frequency bands of 2300 Mhz and 2600Mhz found suitable to provide high speed of data but required high number of towers due to less coverage at higher frequencies. In India Most of the operators are providing 4G services in 2100 Mhz, 1800 Mhz band while RJIO is also using 900 Mhz bands. To reduce capital expenditure to increase number of towers, operators has to compromise with the data speeds .

5G

5G is still in the testing phase. Few countries are ready to launch 5G services in near future. One such testing is going on at Hague.

5G is said to be capable of providing 1000 times high speed of data compared to 4G ,in the range of 1Gpps to 100Gbps.

Basic difference is the frequency used for 5G . To provide high speed of data 5G is required to be launched on very high frequencies 20 Ghz-50 Ghz. Thus due to use of  high frequency, 5G towers can cover very small area and thus number of tower required is very high compared to 4G. It is said that these towers will be situated like street lights in the city . Such towers will provide very high speed of data with very low latency.

Thus increased number of towers will certainly increase level of Electromagnetic radiation .

Already alarm has been raised during 5G test in Hegue by death of animals.John Kuhles said about these deaths of birds in Hegue:

“If they all got heart-failure with an healthy body, no signs of any virus, no bacterial infection, healthy blood, no poisons found etc. etc. The only reasonable explanation is, that it is from the new 5G Microwaves having an huge effect of all birds hearts! … It heavily resonates with certain ERRATIC PULSED Microwaves (millions per second!) which can be proven to have biological effects on organs! … Am not kidding here! … Some people assume Microwaves at lower wattage “can not harm” because “it does not cook you” … that very flawed “logic” is what they want you to repeat over and over! … Search in “Google Scholar Search Site”: Biological Effects of Non-ionizing Microwaves and be ready to be shocked how stupid most sheeple really are in believing blindly the so called “experts” & ” authorities” of FCC, Telecom & Wireless Industry propaganda!” -John Kuhles, founder of Fb.com/groups/Stop5G & Fb.me/Stop5G owner of Stop5G.net

Industries compromises with the health of people and environment to fulfill their greed but the governments worldwide must take the matter seriously before implementing 5G, as it is their responsibility to ensure safety of environment, animals and of course mankind.

Want to do MBA from Top Indian B-Schools, IIM's ,prepare for CAT

Many students in their Graduation dream about getting into IIM's or top Business-Schools for pursuing their MBA, but while preparing they are not sure that will they be able to make it happen.

Getting into any of the prestigious IIM’s is really a herculean task due to high level of competition. Mere qualifying CAT with high percentile can’t ensure seat in IIM's . Before we get into details  let us know the procedure followed by IIM’s for selection:

1). Valid CAT score
2).Writing Ability Test(WAT).
3). Group Discussion.
4). Personal Interview (PI).

Once CAT result is out , candidates have to apply at the individual colleges with their CAT score .Cut off to apply in IIM’s is minimum 90 percentile CAT score and minimum 80 percentile in all three section of CAT exam.

While shortlisting candidates, other things which are taken into consideration are, Academic background(10th, 12 th and Graduation) and work experience. After considering academic performance and work experience candidates with low CAT scores can also be preferred over candidates with high CAT score.

Once shortlisted candidates are called for Writing Ability Test(WAT), Group Discussion and Personal Interview respective by IIM’s . Every round have separate weightage for the final selection in the college.

Newly formed IIMs conducts separate Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds. Candidates appear for common Writing Ability test and Personal Interview and Each IIM asses their performances and release institute wise merit list based on the selection criteria of the college.

Apart from 20 IIM’s , other 100+ B schools in India accepts CAT score.

Higher Education from Foreign Universities

Selection Procedure in Non IIM Business schools

Non IIM business schools may use different selection criteria for final selection among Shortlisted candidates with valid CAT score, like GD, WAT or PI.

Selection by IIT’s for MBA course

Earlier IIT’s used to conduct JMET examination for admission in MBA courses .But now even IIT’s select candidates based on their CAT score. Writing ability test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview is carried out for final selection.

Eligibility for the Foreign Nationals/NRI/PIO for CAT

The eligibility that is needed for foreign nationals, PIO’s or NRI’s is that they must have a Bachelors degree with a minim of 50% (candidates of the SC/ST, PWD categories must have a minimum of 45%). Is Doing MBA from IIT’s Good Enough

While IIM’s charge too high for the MBA courses , IIT’s are providing these courses at very minimal charges which students belonging to a middle class family can afford. As far as syllabus is concerned, IIT’s offer latest syllabus, as these courses has been started late compared to other Institutes. Now MBA students of IIT’s are also being offered good packages.
So doing MBA from IIT’s is very good options if you can’t afford from IIM’s.

Train 18 , India’s First Indigenous Engine less Train

Train 18 is First Indian train made under Make In India, an Initiative undertaken by Government of India. Train 18 is being called as Engine less train. Then the question arise that without an Engine how a train can run .Question is obvious but calling Engine less means that it is not having conventional Locomotive Engine which most old Indian trains are having. In place of Engine this train is provided with self  propelled Electric motors.

What is Different in Train 18?

In a conventional train , Locomotive Engine drags whole of the train coaches thus requires lot  of power . Acceleration and speed control in such train is very difficult. While moving engine less , Train 18 has EMU (Electrical Multiple Units) .Each wagon of train is connected to self-propelled Electric motors , thus driving each wagon and acceleration of the train is quick and controlling of train with individual coach braking also. As there is no engine train can be run in any direction, for that driver cabin is provided in both sides of the train.

What’s new in Train 18.

Concept of Electrical Multiple Units is already there for years and being used in metro and city trains. But for India it is not used in long distance trains till date. But train18 is the same number of coaches(16)  and capacity will replace Shatabdi trains . The main attractions of the train 18 are:

  1. 16 AC coaches with two executive ones. Driving coach has 44 seats.
  2. Trailer coach has 78 seats and executive chair car has 52 seats.
  3. Max speed: 220 kmph , crossed 180 kmph on its trail on 2-12-2018.
  4.     Two disabled-friendly toilets and space for baby care.
  5.    Special pantry units.
  6.    Train is equipped with Rotating chairs , LED lighting, GPS , separate charging points.
  7.   Train is equipped with a smart braking system consisting of regenerative and electro-pneumatic braking imported from Hungary.

Importance for Indian Railways

Train 18 is Indigenously developed and manufactured at Indian Coach Factory Chennai. Total manufacturing cost of this trains is Rs. 100 crore which is half the cost of existing trains.

Most of train components of existing trains are imported thus raising the cost of the train while Most of the components of train 18 are purchased from Indian vendors.

This train is launched in record time of 18 months of its announcement and will replace Shatabdi trains on one day journey route.

Due to high speed this train can cut travel time by 10-15 % and having 50 % more power.

Train can run in both direction thus time used for change of Engine to change train’s direction will be saved.

Train 18 is likely to be started in mid December on  Delhi- Bhopal route.

What is Junior Research Fellow(JRF), Exam and career options

JRF stands for Junior Research Fellow, as the name suggests person working as JRF has to assist in research related works. Usually they have to work under any professor, working  on any project assigned by any of the government or other agency. JRF is eligibility for joining as a lecturer in any university or college .

Process of Selection as JRF

Notifications for JRF exams are issued by UGC and CSIR every year by the name UGC (NET), and CSIR (NET) .National Eligibilty Test(NET) is also an eligibilty exam for the post  of Assistant professor  in  an Indian  University. To apply for the post of Lecturer in any University  it is mandatory to qualify JRF exam.

Sometimes notification for JRF is issued by Individual IIT or NIT for any project for that they invite applications from GATE or NET qualified candidates , no separate exam is conducted. After successful completion of two years as JRF candidate may be allowed to enroll in PhD in the same college or Institute.

Eligibilty

To apply for the post of JRF candidate must posses post Graduation Degree. CSIR takes JRF exams for only science streams ,Chemical Sciences (ii) Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences (iii) Life Sciences (iv) Mathematical Sciences and (v) Physical Sciences. So candidates with post graduation or in Final year of post Graduation in any of the eligible science branches can apply in CSIR(NET), for JRF. Graduate students can also apply with the condition of completing post graduation in two years.

While UGC conducts exams for 90 streams including Engineering .UGC not allows graduate candidates to apply for JRF.
